Bristol Light Festival 2023 confirms new installations including stunning underwater projection at harbourside

A spectacular underwater projection is among one of the beautiful art installations coming for Bristol Light Festival 2023. Organisers have promised their biggest event to date and it's shaping up to be an unmissable festival on the cultural calendar.

Bristol Light Festival has announced further seven incredible installations have been revealed for this year’s event, featuring internationally renowned artists and some of the South West’s leading talent. There are now a total of eleven installations confirmed for the festival launching on February 3.

One of the new light shows entitles 'Sirens' will feature a beautiful holographic projection that will transform the harbourside into a mythical underwater world inhabited by supernatural sea creatures and mysterious mermaids. Bristol based-artists Davy and Kristin McGuire hope to inspire people to consider the climate crisis through the lens of these mythical creatures.
