A Horfield man mixed up in drug dealing had a change of view while remanded in prison for sentence, a court heard. On reflection, Reece Gordon said: "Only when you get out of it you realise how stupid the whole thing is."
Gordon, 28, of Muller Road, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs. He also admitted three charges of assaulting an emergency worker.
Judge Moira Macmillan jailed him for five years and four months. She ordered the forfeiture and destruction of drugs recovered in the case.
