Bristol contestant on Starstruck told she is spitting image of Lady Gaga

The new ITV talent show has certainly got people talking, as contestants compete together, dressed up as the same musical stars. While it was the Freddie Mercury team who made it through to compete for a space in the final - which only one of the team gets - another team attracted a lot of attention as well.

The star-studded panel features Queen frontman Adam Lambert, award-winning actress Sheridan Smith, soul sensation Beverley Knight and comedian Jason Manford decide their favourite team of the night before the voting audience pick just one person to go through to the series final.

The fourth and final team in the first episode of the new series, made up of strangers Harriet, Georgia and Ella, had a complete makeover to look like global superstar Lady Gaga. But it was Georgia, from Bristol, who the judges thoguht best encapsulated the singer's overall look.

Speaking before the performance Georgia said: "Such a big star, I'm quite nervous about transforming into her." The singer, who works at The Players Golf club in Chipping Sodbury, was even complimented by host Olly Murs who said she had an uncanny resemblance to the singer.

The former X Factor contestant said: "Literally up close you really look like her."

Georgia, whose long brunette tresses were covered with a blonde wig for the performance of Bad Romance, said: "I literally felt like i was inside Lady Gaga looking in the mirror."

And some viewers appeared to agree. Marie Anthony tweeted: "Georgia looks so much like Lady Gaga"

However, some viewers were not as impressed by the three firls and their Lady Gaga impression.

Starstruck continues next Saturday on ITV at 8:30pm.
