Bristol City player ratings vs Swansea: Weimann the standout but Zak Vyner has an off day

Max O'Leary - 6

Showed safe hands by denying Obafemi early on but looked a little dodgy when trying to come out to punch at the corners in the first half. Had no chance with the equaliser. Was forced off in the second half through injury after bravely diving in to beat Obafemi to the ball.

Zak Vyner - 5

Given a tough test up against Hannes Wolf in the early exchanges but settled as the game went on, especially after Curtis Fleming gave him some lengthy instructions on the touchline. Was asleep at the back post as Obafemi snuck behind him to score the equaliser.

Tomas Kalas - 7

If his game had been slightly off the boil in the last couple of weeks, it was redemption day for Kalas at the back. Won his headers when Swansea put the pressure on and appeared to be the first man on the front post to get the ball clear on numerous occasions. Obafemi was a tricky customer but dealt with him well.

Timm Klose - 7

Numerous terrific interceptions throughout the contest to break up Swansea's attacking play. Reads the game so well he can step forward out of the back three to win the ball back. Assured with the ball at his feet, another solid performance and can't be at fault for the goals.

Cam Pring - 6

A steady, eddy performance from the left wing-back without really pulling up any trees. Struggled to get forward in an attacking sense and largely dealt well with Christie up until his opponent got in behind him to score Swansea's second. Replaced by Nahki Wells on the 86th minute.

Jay Dasilva - 7

A solid performance again by Dasilva, strong in the tackle and made smart decisions with the ball at his feet. Couldn't get forward as much as he would have liked with Swansea's wing-backs charging forward at every opportunity.

Han-Noah Massengo - 6

Passed a late fitness test to feature and showed no signs that he had been struggling with a hip injury being full of boundless energy. Wasn't at the top of his game this afternoon with Swansea keeping hold of the ball well in midfield. Eventually substituted for Joe Williams on the hour mark.

Alex Scott - 7

City's most lively player once again as he scrapped with Matt Grimes in the centre of the park. Was a tough afternoon for The Robins' midfielders as they maintained their possession-based style but Scott can come out with real credit. Booked for a challenge of Obafemi and had to be careful for the closing 25 minutes.

Andi Weimann - 8

A sensational finish to open the scoring at a crucial moment in the game. He was played through on goal by Semenyo but still had plenty to do as the keeper rushed out to close down the angle. He was up to the task and bent it into the top corner. Could and probably should have had an assist in the second half after robbing the keeper but couldn't find his team-mate.

Chris Martin - 7

Linked up well once again with Semenyo and Weimann without being too much of a goal threat. Did show brilliant footwork in the second half when made a yard for himself in the area but his strike was well blocked. Flicked a corner over the crossbar.

Antoine Semenyo - 7

Another goal involvement by the in-form striker as he played Weimann through on goal with a pin-point pass. Had to wait until 20 minutes until we saw him run at his defender but he certainly has the backline quaking in their boots at times.

Substitutes

Joe Williams (for Massengo, 60) - 6

Introduced for the final 30 minutes and threw himself around the pitch in an attempt to win the ball back. Showed confidence with a tidy flick soon after coming on and will hopefully be pushing for a start soon.

Dan Bentley (for O'Leary, 63) - 6

So unlucky with Swansea's second goal. Made an absolute unbelievable save to initially deny his opponent but the ball ricocheted back into Christie's path to put into the net.

Nahki Wells (for Pring, 86) - N/A

Substitutes not used: Duncan Idehen, Tommy Conway, Ayman Benarous
