Bristol city centre roads to remain closed for 'some time' after serious multi-vehicle crash

Road closures are set to remain in place for 'some time' following a serious multi-vehicle crash in Bristol city centre this afternoon (June 13). Emergency services were called to the collision at around 2.35pm and five people have since been taken to hospital.

The crash took place near the junction of Upper Maudlin Street and St Michael's Hill. Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that Park Row is closed as well as Upper Maudlin Street from Colston Street to St Michael's Hill.

Traffic is being diverted along Park Street during the closures. Motorists have been warned to avoid the area and urged to find alternative routes.
