An iconic Bristol bakery has been named as one of the best in the UK. The National Bakery Awards has named Hart's Bakery as one of the top bakeries for 2023, in a regional round-up around the United Kingdom.
The artisan bakery, which works out of a large Victorian railway arch at Bristol Temple Meads train station, was proudly identified as one of the best in the South West county section of the National Bakery Awards. Neighbouring bakeries Burns the Bread in Somerset and La Boulangerie Artisan in Gloucestershire also made the list.
As a result of their nomination, the team behind Hart's Bakery will now be invited to attend the National Bakery Awards event in Euston Square, London, on July 12 where the regional awards winners will be announced as well as the overall title of National Bakery of the Year. The event will feature a cinematic-style awards presentation with all County Award winners invited along.
