A woman from Cardiff has spoken out about her nightmarish experience flying from Cape Verde to Bristol on what should have been a dream flight.
Naomii Thomas remembers the plane "bouncing hard off the ground" at Bristol on June 8, before then declaring an emergency 7700 code and seeking an alternative landing location. Rather than its original West Country destination, the plane ended up landing in Birmingham, where passengers then had to wait a further two hours on the runway, WalesOnline reports.
Tensions were understandably high, but so much so that police ended up being called in to calm the situation and remove the more troublesome passengers.
