Anyone wishing summer would arrive sooner could be in luck, with Jet2holidays announcing bargain flights abroad from Bristol Airport.
The travel provider is offering cost-cutting deals in multiple locations, including Lanzarote and Majorca. Holidaymakers can get abroad for some sunshine for a price as low as £259 per person, with breaks being offered in Spain's Alicante City.
You'll leave Bristol on April 23, staying in the three-star Hotel Maya Alicante for three nights with bed and breakfast. It costs £259 per person based on two sharing, and includes a 22kg baggage allowance.

Jet2 are also offering seven nights B&B in the four star Seaside Los Jameos in Playa De Los Pocillos, Lanzarote. Flights leave on April 28, and cost £599 per person based on two sharing, which includes a 22kg baggage allowance and return transfers.
If that doesn't take your fancy, you can opt to go to Palma Nova in Majorca instead, where you'll stay in the four-star Globales Palmanova for seven nights. It's all-inclusive and departs from Bristol on April 30, for the price of £499 per person, based on two sharing and including a 22kg baggage allowance and return transfers.
Alternatively, for a big group getaway, a holiday to Menorca for six people is being offered for £349 per person. The trip includes a seven-night self-catered stay in the Villas Amarillas in Cala Blanca, leaving on April 29. The price is based on six sharing and includes a 22kg baggage allowance and car hire.
