NRLW premiership winner Keilee Joseph has signed a two-year contract with Brisbane as the Broncos look to bounce back from this season's semi-final heartbreak.

Formerly with the Sydney Roosters, Queensland-born lock forward Joseph is Brisbane's first new recruit for 2024.

"After seeing how well the Broncos did last year and what they put together, the style of footy, I just wanted to be part of it," the 21-year-old said.

"Princey (coach Scott Prince) and the Broncos flew my partner and I up to have a chat and everything he spoke about just made me want to make the move home."

Joseph has played all 22 of her NRLW games for the Roosters, with whom she won the 2021 grand final, and made her debut for Australia at last year's World Cup.

She is a two-time Queensland State of Origin representative, winning player of the match on her debut in the 2023 series opener.

Having started at lock in all 10 of the Roosters' games this season, including their upset semi-final loss to Gold Coast, Joseph returned an average of 105 run metres.

The Broncos are looking to bounce back from their own 2023 semi-final defeat, to eventual premiers Newcastle.

The majority of Brisbane's regular first-graders have signed on for 2024 but Lavinia Gould, Toni Hunt, Grace Griffin and Filomina Hanisi are still without deals.
