Brighton play host to Brentford in the Premier League and you can find our preview, prediction, team news and confirmed lineups below.
Brighton vs Brentford Preview
The Seagulls have seen a dip in form as of late, failing to win in five consecutive Premier League matches and were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham last time out.
These performances have seen Brighton drop down to 10th in the table, six points away from top four and Fabian Hurzeler’s side are in danger of having a mediocre campaign.
Brighton have managed to score in 16 of the 17 league matches so far, but conceding 26 goals in 17 matches has been their undoing.
As for Brentford, their immaculate home record was broken by Nottingham Forest in the previous league match – thanks to goals from Anthony Elanga and Ola Aina.
Thomas Frank’s side will not be looking forward to another trip away from the Gtech Community Stadium, as the Bees are yet to win away from home.
Brentford currently sit 12th in the table and are five points away from any form of European football – after losing three of their last four league games.
Brighton vs Brentford Team News
The Seagulls have a list of injury concerns as Solly March, Jack Hinshelwood, James Milner, Adam Webster, Danny Welbeck and Ferdi Kadioglu will continue to miss out until 2025.
However, they did manage to leave the clash against West Ham without any fresh injury worries.
Brentford’s injury list is also rather vast as Josh Dasilva, Gustavo Nunes, Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, Mathias Jensen, Ethan Pinnock, Sepp van den Berg and Igor Thiago are all out.

Brighton vs Brentford Prediction
This Premier League meeting between Brighton and Brentford is a difficult one to call given the recent run of form for both sides – leaving the odds for this match very even on UK betting sites.
However, Thomas Frank’s side are yet to win a game away from home so we expect Brighton to earn a narrow victory over the Bees.
Prediction: Brighton 2-1 Brentford
