Premier League side Brighton have raided the Irish market once again to sign another top young prospect.
The Seagulls have a strong recent record in recruiting from these shores - with Aaron Connolly and Evan Ferguson both scoring in the Premier League.
Andrew Moran made his first top-flight appearance in Tuesday night’s 4-1 win away to Everton.
And now they have snapped up attacking midfielder Jamie Mullins from Bohemians.
The Ireland Under-18 international made 32 first-team appearances for Bohs last year and he will begin life at Brighton with the club’s Under-21 side.
Head coach Shannon Ruth said, “We’re really pleased to welcome Jamie and we’re excited to begin working with him.”
Mullins (18) added: “I can’t wait to get started. I played alongside Evan Ferguson at Bohemians and we know each other really well.
“We spoke a lot about what Brighton has to offer young players and the pathway they have, so it made it a really easy decision to join.”
Mullins’ old Dalymount Park pal Ferguson notched up his second goal in as many games when he netted at Goodison Park on Tuesday.
