The cast for Bridgerton 's spinoff about a young Queen Charlotte has been announced
India Amarteifio, 20, will play the younger version of the monarch in the upcoming Netflix show.
The young actress has already had roles in Sex Education, Doctor Who and Line of Duty after starting her career as a child in Matilda the Musical, in the West End.
Last night, Shona Rhimes - who is the showrunner on Bridgerton - shared the cover of the script for the first episode of the prequel, with the pilot believed to be called 'Queen to Be.'
And Netflix revealed that Golda Rosheuvel, 52, will also reprise her role as Queen Charlotte in the prequel about the fictional monarch.
They will be joined by Adjoa Andoh, 59, who reprises her role as Lady Danbury, with a younger version of the socialite set to be played by Arsema Thomas in the project.
Other cast members include Ruth Gemmell reprising her role as Lady Bridgerton and new addition Corey Mylchreest who will take on the role of the young King George.

Game of Thrones' Michelle Fairley will join the spin-off as Princess Augusta, who's been referred to as a "royal determined to do whatever it takes to maintain her family's power."
Netflix revealed that the prequel "will chronicle [Queen Charlotte's] rise to prominence and esteemed power," with a release date yet to be announced by the streaming giant.
The prequel will provide an origin story for her, with a synopsis teasing that she must learn to navigate palace life after finding herself betrothed to the King against her will.
The announcement about the cast of the spin-off comes following the highly-anticipated return of Bridgerton for its second season, which was released on Netflix last week.
The first and second seasons of Bridgerton are available on Netflix. A release date for the prequel series has yet to be announced.
