Bridgerton fans couldn't contain themselves on Friday morning as season two finally landed on Netflix.
Many set their alarms - or stayed up super late - depending on where they are in the world, to get a glimpse of the second instalment of the period drama.
But it was one particular scene in the opening episode which had everyone talking on Twitter - and it involved newcomer Kate Sharma (played by Simone Ashley).
Just 15 minutes into episode one of season two, viewers are treated to the first scene between Kate and Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey).
Anthony decides to chase Kate on his horse after she rides past him and he mistakenly thinks she's in distress.
Thinking she's outrun him, Kate slows down but is stunned when Anthony gallops up beside her.
"Apologies Sir, I did not mean to cause anyone concern," Kate tells him as she continues riding her horse.
"You worry about being seen?" Anthony then asks her as she replies: "I worry about meeting strange men in parks at dawn who fail to leave me alone with all of their questions."
"Your secret is safe with me, I shall not tell a soul," Anthony responds, as he refers to their encounter as a race - which Kate laughs off.
Their banter continued and fans couldn't control themselves as they were quick to notice the chemistry between the two actors.
"yeah so i’m a changed person after only one scene," one fan tweeted alongside a screen grab of Kate and Anthony.
"i was giggling heart was racing #Bridgerton," another said, while a third person tweeted: "Their first meeting is just I love Kate and Anthony sm #Bridgerton."
A fourth viewer admitted: "I've watched Kate-Anthony's meet cute 4 times already. At this rate I wont make it past episode 1 #Bridgerton."
And a fifth person added: "not kate getting lost in anthony eyes and him winking at her whoaa their chemistry yeah i’m not gonna survive with this ship #Bridgerton."
Someone else commented: "Kate and Anthony’s first encounter in the series TOPPED THE BOOKS #Bridgerton."
There looks set to be plenty of drama in season 2 as Kate is in London to help her younger sister Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) find a husband - but she could end up falling for Anthony herself.
Bridgerton Season 2 is available to watch on Netflix now.
