The latest season of Bridgerton left fans gripped by the enemies-to-lovers romance of Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma, so gripped in fact that they may have missed an apparent visit from the Prime Minister himself.
Season two is of course set during the debutante season of 1813, more than a hundred and fifty years before Prime Minister Boris Johnson was born.
However, a blink and you'll miss it scene shows a figure who strongly resembles the PM, painted as part of the ornate ceiling in Kate's bedroom.
As spotted by one eagle-eyed TikTok user, 'the PM' appears while Kate struggling to sleep one stormy night, grappling over her inescapable feelings for the betrothed Viscount.
As she looks upwards to the elaborately painted ceiling, viewers catch a glimpse of a bare-chested figure with a very recognisable face and a shock of bright blonde hair.

Puzzled TikTok user THarvey, who goes by the username @txharvey has shared a snippet of the scene in question, asking their followers, "why is Boris Johnson in Bridgerton ?"
The resemblance is in fact so uncanny that some of their followers have even suggested that the set designer could well have snuck in the PM's likeness as a joke.
Whether or not the design was an intentional choice or a complete coincidence, it has certainly given viewers a good laugh.
The video has since clocked up 110.2K likes, with one person remarking that it was "no wonder she couldn't fall asleep" with him looming over her.
Another admitted, "I thought I was going insane when I saw that in the show", while a third person chuckled: "You just know the person who did that never thought that anyone will notice."
Bizarrely, this isn't the first time that the Tory leader has been 'spotted' in a different time period.
In 2016, the sex history Twitter account Whores of Yore shared a racy photo of an "anonymous man posing in women's underwear", taken circa 1896.
Many people felt the image, which comes from the Wellcome Library's collection, looked so much like the now PM that they refused to believe they weren't looking at a PhotoShopped image.
