Bride told she ‘would never walk’ stuns guests as she gets out of wheelchair and walks down aisle

Wedding guests were reduced to tears when a bride got up from her wheelchair and walked down the aisle alongside her proud dad. Natalie Nowak, from Southport, was born with cerebral palsy and doctors had told her parents that she would never be able to talk, walk or even lead a normal life.

But she proved that she had defied all the odds when the 32-year-old joined her groom Andy at the altar. Previously, he had only seen her walk a few steps and in his emotional wedding speech Andy, 32, said: “Angels have wings, but my angel has wheels.”

Less than a year after having spinal surgery, she had managed to stand throughout the whole of their first dance, to Celine Dion’s Because You Loved Me, before partying on the dancefloor in her wheelchair until the early hours, The Mirror reports.
