Bride-to-be urgently seeking anyone called Jess for £75 bracelet giveaway after bridesmaid disaster

A bride-to-be is desperately on the hunt for someone called Jess to give a £75 bracelet to after one of her bridesmaids decided she didn't want 'anything to do' with her. Taking to her TikTok account, the bride - whose name is Katie - uploaded a clip explaining why she is searching for people who share the same name as the ex-bridesmaid.

"If your name is Jess, stop scrolling, because I want to gift you an Abbott Lyon bracelet," she begins by telling viewers, before adding: "So I'm going to try to get through this without crying because I have cried enough the past few weeks."

The future wife goes on to reveal that she gifted each of her bridesmaids an Abbot Lyon bracelet with their name on it as their bridesmaid proposal. However, one of her bridesmaids, someone who Katie says thought was her "best friend", has decided that she "no longer wants me to be a part of her life."

She continues: "And after what can only be described as an assassination on my character, [she] has dropped out of my life and so has also dropped out of my wedding. I don't want to have to sit here and defend my character, I know who I am.

"The response from colleagues, friends and family is enough to give me the comfort that this is absolutely no loss to me. But ultimately it still very much hurts... So I'd like something good to come of a bad situation.

"I don't know anyone else called Jess, at least not anyone who I think would like this or anyone who is particularly close to me. So I would like to give this [bracelet] to someone deserving."

Katie then holds the bracelet up to the camera, which features the name 'Jess' in gold italic, cursive writing - sitting in between a circle of pearls and gold beads. She claims the stunning accessory is worth £75.

"So if you are called Jess, comment below, or if you know someone called Jess who deserves a treat, I will post this out to someone for free - it is yours... I certainly don't need it," she ends her video by saying.

In the caption, Katie adds: "GIVEAWAY, UK only. Not affiliated with @Abbott Lyon or TikTok. Winner drawn when I feel the post has reached far enough!" Already the plea video has been watched more than 13,000 times, with masses of people called Jess, or tagging a friend with the same name, writing in the comment section.

A third put: "Such a horrible situation to be in. Hope your special day is filled with light and happiness. My names Jess and would love to be considered x." A fourth penned: "I'm so sorry that this has happened to you it's such an awful situation but also at least its happened now not after the wedding also I'm a jess xx."
