A newlywed couple's joy turned to heartbreak when their beloved dog tragically died later that day after being left in a hot van. Ffion James, 30, tied the knot with Ben Hill, 31, with the couple making their pug Luna the guest of honour for their confetti walk.
The loved-up couple posed for snaps holding hands after their nuptials with Ben cradling the pooch in his arms. However, just mere hours after the stunning photographs were taken Luna was dead.
The couple had booked her into kennels for her to be looked after while they enjoyed the rest of their special day. However, she was left in the back of a van for two hours before she was checked in, The Mirror reports.
