Brianna Ghey's family pay tribute to 'strong, fearless and one of a kind' teenager killed in park

A schoolgirl stabbed to death in a park was today described as "strong" and "fearless" by her family.

Brianna Ghey was found dead at around 3.13pm on Saturday, in Linear Park, Warrington. Police confirmed the 16-year-old, who went to Birchwood High School, was stabbed to death.

Two teenagers, a 15-year-old boy and girl, both from the area, have since been arrested on suspicion of murder. They are currently in custody assisting police with their investigation.
