The rest of the NFL has to step up their hat game now that Brian Robinson Jr. set the bar ridiculously high. Literally.
On Sunday, the Washington Commanders handed the Atlanta Falcons their seventh loss of the season with a big 19-13 win in Week 12. Thanks to the win, the Commanders stay alive in the NFC East race with their third victory in the row.
And yet, all anyone can talk about after the game is Robinson’s postgame fit. After Robinson put down a 105-yard game on 18 carries, the Commanders running back showed up to do media interviews in a hilariously too-large hat for his head. The reason? To do promotion for his friend’s “big hat” company.

Now that, my friends, is how you do promo. Robinson also gets points here for rocking the obnoxiously large hat with as much style as one can muster when wearing a comically-sized hat.
NFL fans too were absolutely enthralled by Robinson’s big hat and could not contain themselves from making jokes.
I would eat soft serve ice cream out of the big hat. https://t.co/fgjrXbB4Ik

This is the definition of friendship. I only want friends in my life who would wear big hats if I started a big hat company. https://t.co/vWNhlSaRga

The Commanders do not deserve this man and his preposterously large hat. https://t.co/kQ8wFSbFVY
