Brian O'Driscoll was left red faced as he brought the wrong dog home from the groomers on Wednesday
The Ireland legend took to social media to share the story as he made the grave mistake.
Dog Lover Dricco went to pick up his beloved pooch from the groomers and even made the journey all the way back to his Rathmines home before realising mistake.
The former Ireland captain said that he though the clean up of his dog made him brush off the small differences of appearance.
He also said he thought his beloved pooch was less animated than normal than usual because she hates getting her haircut.
He said: "When you take the wrong dog all the home from the groomers.
"I just thought all the black had been sheared off her face and she was a bit quiet with me cos she hates getting her hair cut"
But the rugby ace presumably was reunited with his best friend so all's well that ends well.
