The Cleveland Browns interviewed Brian Flores for their vacant defensive coordinator post last week after firing Joe Woods. Jim Schwartz and Dennard Wilson have also been interviewed for the post as well. However, SI’s Albert Breer has reported that Flores, “has a real good shot,” at landing the gig in Cleveland.
According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Flores will not commit to anything right away as “other offers are out there for him.” He already has a head coaching request as well, as the Arizona Cardinals are interested in him as their head coach after firing Kliff Kingsbury as well.
As the Browns continue to interview candidates for their next defensive coordinator, it will be interesting to see how the process plays out.
