Brian Austin Green was "annoying" Megan Fox with everything he did at the end of their relationship.
The 38-year-old actress previously confessed to being annoyed by the way Brian chewed his food, and the actor has now admitted that the former couple were bickering about "stupid little stuff" as their marriage neared its end.
Brian, 51 - who was married to the movie star between 2010 and 2021 - said on the 'misSPELLING' podcast: "I honestly think the chewing thing, she’d gotten to the point where things weren’t great, so I think everything was annoying her.
"You kind of get to the point where you’re like, ‘God, just the way you’re shuffling your feet right now. The way you’re putting that toast in the toaster’s just driving me crazy.’ It’s all that stupid little stuff."
Brian admitted that he and his ex-wife ultimately reached a make-or-break point in their relationship.
He reflected: "That to me is when you either have to make the choice to say, ‘OK, we’re going to go into therapy, and we’re gonna try to find our connection and we’re gonna try to find what’s going on now, or these things are going to sink us'.
"They’re going to be the death of us. Because they just build up and build up and get worse and worse."
Earlier this year, Megan admitted that she was "not great" during their marriage.
The actress said on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast: "I think it would be easy for me to lean into and complain about, or let it seem like that relationship was one way.
"I was not great because I was young and really should not have been in a relationship of that level of commitment and that magnitude."
