Chris Sutton reckons Brendan Rodgers will end his spell at Leicester City three years on from his Celtic exit if either of his two prized assets are sold.
It's been a summer of frustration for the King Power Stadium boss, with his side drawing 2-2 with Brentford on the Premier League's opening weekend after zero summer signings. Stalwart Kasper Schmeichel has gone to France and Nice, coming after domestic rivals eyeing up moves for Wesley Fofana and James Maddison.
Newcastle want the latter and Chelsea are after Fofana, with Celtic hero Sutton reckoning Rodgers needs a helping hand. The former Liverpool boss left Parkhead in 2019 for another crack at the Premier League but should one of Fofana or Maddison make summer moves, it could be time up. Sutton wrote in his Daily Mail column: "Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers looks like a ticking time-bomb and I don't blame him.

"He has said Wesley Fofana and James Maddison are absolutely not for sale. Chelsea want Fofana for £80m and Newcastle want Maddison for £60m.
"If one or both of them leave Leicester, I would not be surprised if Rodgers left The Foxes have not made a single signing yet in this transfer window.
"On top of this have now lost captain Kasper Schmeichel to Nice. These are worrying times for Leicester. Rodgers is a brilliant coach and a top manager, but he needs help."
