Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has provided an injury update on star man James Maddison ahead of the clash against Liverpool.
The Reds welcome former manager Rodgers and his Foxes side to Anfield on Friday night for what will be their final match of 2022. And they will go into the game on the back of a 3-1 win at Aston Villa tonight. Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk put Jurgen Klopp's men in control before youngster Stefan Bajectic stepped off the bench to seal the victory.
Earlier in the day Leicester went down 3-0 at home to high-flying Newcastle United. Maddison missed the match with the knee injury that he suffered before the World Cup began in Qatar.
