Brendan Rodgers is set to become Celtic's new manager in a move that could have a major knock-on effect for his former side Swansea City.
The Northern Irishman is believed to be in advanced talks with the Scottish champions as he nears a return to the club where he won seven domestic trophies as manager between 2016 and 2019.
Rodgers, who was sacked by Leicester City in April ahead of their relegation from the Premier League, will be taking over from incoming Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou at Celtic Park - but it is who he will be bringing with him that will be of most interest to Swans supporters.

Talks are under way over the backroom team that will be put in place if and when Rodgers takes the job, with tactical guru Jack Lyons and performance coach Glen Driscoll identified as the two men he will be looking to bring in by the Scottish Sun. Celtic's current assistant coach John Kennedy could also stick around to work with the 50-year-old but has been targeted by Postecoglou to join him in North London.
However, it appears that there will be no place in Rodgers' plans for his former assistant Chris Davies, who has been widely tipped as the frontrunner for the vacant Swansea job.
Rodgers and Davies have enjoyed a hugely successful working relationship over the years, which began when the Northern Irishman was in charge of the Swans. They have since gone on to work together at Celtic as well as Liverpool and Leicester.
While there is now an opportunity to rejoin his former boss in Glasgow, however, Davies is keen to make it on his own as a manager having been out of work since leaving his assistant's role at the Foxes in April.
The 38-year-old remains the favourite to take over at the Swansea.com Stadium and replace the outgoing Russell Martin. Other names, including former Club Brugge manager Carl Hoefkens and Wigan boss Shaun Maloney, have also been linked although these have been played down by club insiders.
However, the deal is far from done yet with the highly-rated Davies also reportedly catching the eye of Postecoglou, who may try and tempt him to Spurs ahead of next season.
