Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has provided an update on the future of Youri Tielemans amid reported interest from Liverpool.
The Reds are one of a host of clubs who have been credited with an interest in Tielemans over the past few months, with Manchester United and Arsenal also being linked.
Tielemans’ current deal at Leicester is set to expire in 2023, and rumours continue to swirl over whether or not he will put pen to paper on an extension.

Reports in recent days have claimed that Tielemans has rejected a recent contract offer from Leicester, sparking more gossip that a move to Liverpool could be on the cards.
Despite the rumours, Rodgers has insisted that Tielemans has not rejected a contract offer from Leicester.
However, Rodgers did not say either way whether or not he expects Tielemans to sign a new deal with the Foxes.
“He hasn’t declined [a new deal],” Rodgers told Sky Sports. “For me his position is exactly the same as what it was.
“He’s a fantastic player and there’s been no movement whatsoever, he’s a player who has continued to work and is working well.
“Till the last day he’s here whether that’s at the end of the contract or summer or beyond that, he will always give his best because he’s a top professional and he showed his commitment today.
“There’s interest trying to be generated by other people.”
