Brenda Edwards has returned to Instagram with a lovely tribute to her son Jamal who passed away aged 31.
Celebrity tributes have flooded social media after the YouTubestar and founder of SBTV died at the weekend.
His mother Loose Women star Brenda Edwards revealed her son had suffered with a “short illness” before his death.
The grieving mum honoured her late son by including him in her new profile picture.
The sweet photograph showed the former X Factor star could be seen beaming with her two children, daughter Tanisha and the late Jamal.
Another picture showed the whole family laughing together as Jamal covered his face with his hands and his mum leaned her hand on his shoulder in an affectionate gesture.
Using the caption “#NewProfilePic” she pinned the image to the top of her Twitter profile.
Celebrities weighed in on the moving tribute.
Among the comments, presenter Kate Thornton wrote: “Thinking of you and sending all our love.”
Dionne Grant wrote back to the star on her return to Twitter: “Beautiful. Sending all my love to you and your family at this time.”
She had previously posted a video of Ms Edwards singing Whitney Houston’s The Greatest Love of All through a megaphone at a candlelit vigil for Jamal in Acton on Monday night.

Speaking through a megaphone, Ms Edwards urged crowds: “If we can do anything in 2022, can we please bring the community together.
“Stop the fighting. Stop the killing. And build up our community. We are not supposed to be losing our young people.
“If you see something happening. Try to stop it please.”
It came after a friend said Jamal suffered a cardiac arrest in his bedroom after returning home from a late-night DJ set.
“The details are still not clear but we’ve been told that it was a heart attack,” the friend, named Dwayne, told MailOnline.
“He was out DJing on Saturday night and eventually got home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“The family are still trying to come to terms with it all, but we’ve heard that his mum found him in his bedroom and called an ambulance.”
Edwards founded the online music platform SBTV when he was just 15.
He helped launch the careers of artists including Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Jessie J and Dave.
The rising star was awarded an MBE in 2014 for services to music.
