Another week, another award for a New York Jets player, particularly a rookie Jets player.
After rushing for 116 yards against the Green Bay Packers, reaching 100 rushing yards for the first time in his NFL career, Jets RB Breece Hall was voted as the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 6. Hall was also the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week for Week 4.
Hall beat out Ravens RB Kenyan Drake (119 yards, 1 touchdown vs. Giants) and Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (97 yards, 1 touchdown vs. Cardinals).
Hall has 391 rushing yards, second among all rookies to only Texans RB Dameon Pierce (412). He’ll look to continue his excellent start to his career when the Jets take a Broncos defense that ranks 13th in rushing yards allowed per game (109.8) and 18th in rush defense DVOA.
