A boy with an ultra-rare immune disease which can carry a “death sentence” is living a normal life after taking part in a groundbreaking gene therapy trial at a London hospital.
Four-year-old Eisa Hussain now enjoys playing football around the house and can attend school – something his family would have never dreamed possible before the treatment.
