Two men have been left seriously injured after a stabbing in south Manchester.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene on Parrs Wood Road in Didsbury on Saturday afternoon (July 9). The road was cordoned off by police officers.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed this morning that two men - aged 46 and 48 - were taken to hospital from the scene with knife wounds. They remain there in a serious condition.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing. Crime scene investigators were pictured combing the area last night as the road was taped off.
Detectives carried out door-to-door enquiries. One neighbour said 'a lot of police' descended on the quiet street after the incident.
An ambulance reportedly arrived at the scene at around 2.30pm, followed by police officers. A statement from GMP said: "Officers were called just before 3.30pm yesterday (9 July 2022) to a report of a stabbing on Parrs Wood Road in Manchester.
"Emergency services attended and two men, aged 46 and 48, were taken to hospital where they remain in a serious condition. No arrests have been made and an investigation is on-going.
"Enquiries are continuing and anyone with information or may have witnessed anything, or has any dashcam footage or CCTV, is urged to report it online or via LiveChat at www.gmp.police.uk or call 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
This followed a night of violence in Greater Manchester on Friday, as two men were taken to hospital after a horrific double stabbing and gunmen opened fire on two streets. In the most serious of the incidents an armed gang attacked two men in a car in Salford, sparking a huge police presence.
