Tottenham striker Troy Parrott has joined Preston North End on a season-long loan deal. As well as confirming his loan move to the Championship side, Spurs have also announced that the young striker has penned a new three-year deal in north London, extending his stay until 2025.
Returning to the Lilywhites in the summer after spending the 2021/22 campaign in League One with MK Dons, Tottenham will be hoping for another successful year for the player after such a good season at Stadium MK. A regular in Liam Manning's side as they challenged for automatic promotion, the 20-year-old registered ten goals and seven assists in his year at MK Dons.
Needing to take the next step in his young career to help his development before hopefully returning to Spurs and challenging for a place in Antonio Conte's squad, a move to Preston, who finished 13th in the Championship last season, could work wonders for his game. Parrott is now stranger to the division having spent the first part of the 2020/21 season with Millwall.

Unfortunately injury and a lack of game time meant his move didn't go to plan and it resulted in Tottenham recalling him in January 2021, before he was immediately sent out on loan again to Ipswich Town in League One. Training with Conte's first-team squad at Spurs this summer and playing in both games on the tour of South Korea, the Republic of Ireland international wasn't part of the travelling party to Glasgow on Saturday because of his pending loan move to Preston.
Parrott is the fourth summer exit from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after Cameron Carter-Vickers, Steven Bergwijn and Jack Clarke sealed permanent moves away.
