Sergio Ramos joins Lionel Messi in quitting PSG after two seasons with club

Sergio Ramos will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract on June 30.

The Spaniard joined PSG from Real Madrid in 2021 but struggled for game time under Mauricio Pochettino in his first season, making just 13 appearances in all competitions. However, Christophe Galtier chose to re-introduce Ramos into the starting XI at the start of this term alongside Marquinhos, and it is a partnership that has worked.

After over 50 matches and five goals, Ramos will leave PSG after their final Ligue 1 game of the season against Clermont Foot on Saturday. PSG will lift the league trophy for the ninth time in 10 years following the full-time whistle, with the 37-year-old set to serenade the home faithful for the very last time.
