Arsenal fullback Oleksandr Zinchenko will miss today's Premier League clash against West Ham United because of a groin problem, as per The Athletic.
Zinchenko didn't train with the rest of his teammates at the club's London Colney training base yesterday, football.london understands, whilst winger Bukayo Saka hinted the left-back would be out after he benched him in his Fantasy Premier League team - leading to plenty of theories from Arsenal supporters regarding the Ukraine international's fitness. Now, Jordan Campbell of The Athletic has confirmed that the former Manchester City defender has a slight issue but it is not thought to be serious.
Campbell tweeted: "Zinchenko to miss Arsenal’s game vs West Ham this afternoon after picking up groin issue against Liverpool. Not thought to be serious but club choosing to protect him. Arsenal also still without (William) Saliba at the back." The club then confirmed that the left-back was out "as a precaution due to a tight groin".

Zinchenko has been a key member of Arsenal's team this season, inverting in possession to help them in the build-up phase whilst also offering an extra body in midfield to aid them when it comes to controlling matches. Kieran Tierney has started in his place against the Hammers, just the fifth time the Scottish international has been named in Mikel Arteta's starting XI in the league this term.
Tierney offers completely different qualities to the man he is replacing, much more comfortable running down the left flank instead of tucking in.
