A man has died after being found with life-threatening injuries in Manchester city centre on Wednesday evening (June 14).
Emergency services descended on Whitworth Street West and Albion Street at around 6pm to reports of a man, aged 20, lying in the street with serious injuries.
A number of ambulances and police vehicles attended the scene, outside a high-rise block, before the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A number of road closures remained in place into Wednesday night as part of investigations. Witnesses said they saw an air ambulance overhead and paramedics giving CPR within the cordon.
One person told the M.E.N: "I was passing the incident just after it happened and police were closing the road. The person was getting CPR. It looked like a horrible incident."
Another said: "The air ambulance went low over my flat, I thought it was strange, and landed near the Owen St Towers."
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At approximately 6pm tonight (14/06/23) Greater Manchester Police responded to calls of a man aged 20 with serious life-threatening injuries outside of a premises on Whitworth Street West in Manchester.
"Colleagues from NWAS also attended and sadly pronounced the man deceased. Road closures at the junction of Albion Street and Deansgate Locks are in place while investigations are ongoing."
