Jake Paul has confirmed his opponent has signed a contract to fight him in October.
The YouTube star was due to return to the ring earlier this month but saw bouts against first Tommy Fury and then Hasim Rahman Jr fall apart. Fury was denied entry to the United States before Paul pulled the plug on a clash with Rahman Jr following a row over the weight limit.
Paul, who will fight for the sixth time in the professional ranks, has not named his opponent but said last weekend he would have a professional record and that the fight would be held at 185lb. Paul has previously fought at 190lb but sees his long-term future at the light-heavyweight limit of 175lb. On Wednesday, he tweeted simply: "Opponent inked. October is mine."
Paul has so far fought fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson and MMA standouts Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. The 25-year-old has been heavily criticised for not facing an opponent with a boxing record, something he attempted to rectify with both Fury and Rahman Jr.
The social media star, who recently launched a gambling app, has been linked with a fight with ex-kickboxing world champion Andrew Tate who was pictured alongside Paul's manager last week. But he does not fit the criteria set and is currently fighting against his suspension from social media.

Paul had offered to step in this weekend to fight long-time rival KSI after he was left without an opponent when Alex Wassabi pulled out with concussion. But the rivals instead verbally agreed to fight at Wembley next year in what would be the biggest influencer fight in history.
KSI will instead face two fighters on the same night when he takes on rapper Swarmz, who has never boxed before, and then professional Luis Alcaraz Pineda later on the same evening. The Mexican has lost five of his seven paid fights but will at least prove a sterner test than Swarmz.
