Jordan Pickford has confirmed that Harry Kane is 'good' but 'a little bit sore' following the England captain's injury scare. The 29-year-old striker had a scan this week on his ankle after picking up a knock in the Three Lions' World Cup opener against Iran.
Kane, who provided two assists in England's 6-2 win, featured for 75 minutes in Doha before being replaced by Newcastle star Callum Wilson. After the game, Kane was pictured walking out of the ground limping and with some light strapping to the ankle.
Speaking to the press ahead of England's clash with the United States on Friday afternoon, November 25, the Everton goalkeeper said: "I think he is good, a little bit sore but he is fine and been out with us on the grass. He is our captain, he has been good. He is fine, yeah."
