Chelsea's Premier League clash against Fulham will no longer take place tomorrow afternoon following the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
Executives from Premier League clubs held a meeting this morning with representatives from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport where it was communicated that there was no obligation to cancel or postpone sporting events during the period of national mourning. However, the final choice would be left to individual organisations.
A further meeting took place between Premier League stakeholders at 11am and it was decided that top-flight fixtures this weekend would go not ahead as scheduled.

A statement released by the Premier League read: "At a meeting this morning, Premier League clubs paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. To honour her extraordinary life and contribution to the nation, and as a mark of respect, this weekend's Premier League match round will be postponed, including Monday evening's game.
"Further updates regarding Premier League fixtures during the period of mourning will be provided in due course."
That news was confirmed shortly after Chelsea had taken the decision to cancel Graham Potter’s unveiling press conference. The 47-year-old was officially confirmed as Thomas Tuchel’s replacement yesterday and was scheduled to be introduced to the media at 1.30pm this afternoon at the club’s Cobham training ground.
However, following The Queen’s passing, Chelsea postponed the press conference as those at the club did not “feel it is appropriate to proceed” during the period of national mourning.
