Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Southampton youngster Jimmy-Jay Morgan. The forward makes the move to Stamford Bridge for around £6million with £3million in add-ons.
Morgan, who played for the Blues' academy before leaving to join Saints earlier in his youth career, has now returned to Cobham where he is eligible to play for the Under-18s as well as the development squad, Chelsea have confirmed.
He has already been part of Southampton squads but never made a first team appearance on the south coast. He has scored four time and assisted five in Premier League 2 this season.
