A 16-year-old has tonight been tragically killed and a family "left devastated' after a horror knife attack.
Police say a murder investigation has been launched and they have a "large scene in place" in Manchester, where a teen sustained multiple stab wounds.
The lad's family have been told and are being supported by specialist officers at what Greater Manchester Police Superintendent John Harris described as a "most shocking and upsetting time."
