Arsenal complete £27m Leandro Trossard transfer to turn the tables on Chelsea

Arsenal have announced the signing of Leandro Trossard in a £27million transfer from Premier League rivals Brighton.

The Belgium winger, 28, has become the Gunners' first arrival of the January transfer window and gives Mikel Arteta a welcome addition in attack as he masterminds a charge towards the title. He will wear to No.19 shirt for the Gunners.

Trossard had less than 18 months to run on his contract with the Seagulls - after the club activated a one-season extension earlier in January - before Arsenal swooped in.
