American Airlines flight makes emergency landing after hydraulics failure

An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing after undergoing complete hydraulic failure Monday morning.

American Airlines flight 1632 took off from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at 7:16 a.m. local time, headed for Boston.

Less than an hour later, it made a U-turn and soared back toward LAX, having only made it as far as the Mojave Desert.
