Australia's powerhouse women's rugby sevens team have been left stunned at being on the wrong end of one of the game's great shocks after losing to unheralded Brazil on the first day of the Vancouver Sevens.
In what was their first win ever over one of the traditional rugby powers, the ecstatic Brazilians could hardly believe what they'd achieved in their group match on Friday night as they roared back from a 12-0 deficit at halftime to eke out a memorable 14-12 triumph.
"It's really hard to find some words to describe what we are feeling because for us it's a really big challenge to compete against the top teams," veteran Brazilian forward Raquel Kochhann said.
