Brazil boss Tite is hopeful that Neymar will still be able to play a role in the rest of Brazil's World Cup journey despite picking up an injury during their opening World Cup game.
Neymar suffered the knock during Brazil's 2-0 win over Serbia on Thursday night. The PSG attacker suffered the injury in the second half and limped off the field eleven minutes after receiving treatment on the pitch and it has now been confirmed that he will miss Brazil's second group game with Switzerland.
After the game, Neymar was seen hobbling out of the stadium as his teammates attempted to shield him from the prying eyes of the media in attendance.

Despite the worrying sight of Neymar in tears as he made his way off the field, Brazil manager Tite struck an optimistic note as he spoke about Neymar's injury.
“We are confident that Neymar will continue playing in the World Cup," said the manager, while Brazil team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said, “We need to wait 24-48 hours in order to have a better assessment. We have not scheduled any MRI and tomorrow we’ll have a new assessment.”
While all eyes were on Neymar during last night's game, the former Barcelona man was a peripheral figure for much of his time on the pitch.
Spurs striker Richarlison was the star of the show and bagged a second-half brace, the second of which was a stunning overhead kick which many are calling the goal of the tournament so far.
But Neymar's injury took some of the gloss off the excellent victory over a dangerous Serbian side that topped a group featuring Ireland and Portugal in qualifying.
The 30-year-old has suffered from ankle injuries in the past, with a sprained right ankle ruling him out of Brazil's 2019 Copa America success.
Brazil's second highest International scorer will undoubtedly be hoping for there not to be a repeat of the 2014 World Cup. On that occasion, Neymar missed the latter stages of the tournament after suffering a serious back injury, with Brazil being dumped out in the semi-final by Germany in a 7-1 hammering that has gone down in history.
