Bravo Stars Are Divided. Jill Zarin Posted a Single Deleted Rant Over Bad Bunny. Then There’s Lisa Rinna

The Real Housewives stars are up in arms of the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. Bad Bunny enthralled a worldwide audience with a colorful, poignant portrait of America during his set. But, some Housewives stars like Jill Zarin and Taylor Armstrong were less than thrilled.

On Instagram, Zarin took aim at Bad Bunny’s performance by calling it inappropriate. Meanwhile, Armstrong also voiced her displeasure with the spectacle. It’s worth noting that the ladies were in the minority for this event. A large swath of social media is praising Benito’s amazing range as a performer and the cameos.

Zarin told her followers in a since-deleted video, “It was the worst halftime show ever. I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish, and, quite frankly … grabbing his G [groin] area … I think it was totally inappropriate. You’ve got all these young kids watching the Super Bowl, and he doesn’t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds because he’s so insecure. Seriously.”

“I don’t speak Spanish,” she volunteered. “I would’ve liked to have known the words he was saying. To me, it looked like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the entire thing. I’m not taking a side, one way or the other … I think it was an ICE thing. I think that the NFL sold out, and it’s very sad.”

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show prompts a range of reactions

For Armstrong’s part, she posted to Instagram, “Were you entertained? I am embarrassed for the NFL and Apple for the Super Bowl halftime show totally in Spanish with a Cuban flag!!” The use of a Russell Crowe meme there is curious, but we press onward? Somehow, Bethenny Frankel shared her thoughts on Bad Bunny, and she’s kind of rocking with it? As Dustin Cone on Twitter said, “Bethenny being right over Jill Zarin? It’s like 2010 all over again.”

“He is an artist expressing himself, his music, his experience as a Puerto Rican man in America. If it’s a country artist, they’re expressing their experience and sharing their music and their culture,” Frankel observed. “If it’s a hip-hop artist, I love Notorious B.I.G. and talking about his come-up and when he was eating sardines for dinner. So, Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican man in America performing on the largest stage in the world, which is the Super Bowl. That is very inspirational to people. He’s expressing himself in his first language.”

Lisa Rinna was clearly loving the Bad Bunny halftime show

For funsies, peep Lisa Rinna getting in the groove on social media. All of them have slightly different takes, and that’s what’s made this franchise such a gas to follow for years now. This is all very illuminating about the different personalities involved. You can have a lot of opinions about the Super Bowl halftime show. But, it’s clear the NFL got exactly what it wanted with the range of opinions about the show. And, as an added bonus, a narrative about unity across all the Americas at a crucial time in the nation’s history.

Candiace Dillard Bassett also chimed in with a timely word. On Twitter, she said, “Y’all need to learn how to appreciate people, places, and things that are not like you. English is not the only language that matters. English speakers do not need to be centered in EVERYTHING. America is land made richer because of her immigrants.” Don’t know if we could agree more.
