A brand-new musical will have fans reliving their favourite productions in one epic show as the tour takes to Ayr’s Gaiety this May.
Dreamcoat Stars promises a colourful production featuring West End and Broadway classics from the nation’s most loved shows including Joseph, Jesus Christ Superstar, SIX, Wicked, Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, Moulin Rouge and more.
Featuring stars from the worldwide hit production Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the show contains new vocal harmonies and stories from the leading lights’ time in the role of Joseph.
The longest reigning Joseph Mike Holoway will take centre stage alongside British actor and singer Keith Jack, who shot to fame after placing second in BBC1’s Any Dream Will Do and has since went on to play The Narrator and Joseph himself in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK Tour).
Mike Holoway first played the titular role of Joseph at age 19 before appearing in the West End and UK tours over a 24-year period culminating in over 4000 performances.
Broadway’s Glenn Carter and London West End’s Jonathan Dudley will join the duo on stage to entertain musical fans in the mega mix production, which promises to “raise your spirits in a night of theatre you’ll never forget.”
Jam-packed with vibrant and energetic songs, Joseph fans are encouraged to grab your coat of many colours and join Red Entertainment in association with Chelmsford Theatre’s Josephs on an emotional journey where Any Dream Will Do.
Dreamcoat Stars comes to Ayr Gaiety on Friday, May 5 at 7.30pm.
