The boutique hotel is designed by Douglas Wallace Consultants and it will include a ground floor bar, restaurant and conference suite including external terraced restaurant area.

The scheme, sensitive to its impact on its immediate environment, has been designed at varying heights, with four stories to its rear and, leveraging the road frontage, eight to the front.

It will be one of only three hotels in the North Docklands area which is home to such blue-chip business as Central Bank, Google, Facebook, Yahoo and Version.

Damien Meegan, scheme architect and Douglas Wallace Director, said: "We have been fortunate to have such a visionary client that has allowed us take this refreshingly different approach to what will become not just a landmark destination but also an social-epicentre for the local community.”

Work is expected to begin on the hotel in mid 2023, with an anticipated completion date of the end of 2024.
