Brand DapuStor has unveiled a gargantuan 512 TB SSD at this year's FMS 2026 event, but it's sadly not for gaming

In the ongoing horror that is the RAM Storage Crisis, you're likely reading this while struggling to budget for just 1TB of storage for your gaming PC or PS5. Yet companies like DapuStor are out there unveiling massive 512 TB solid-state drives at FMS 2026, the Future of Memory and Storage 2026 conference held in Santa Clara, California.

512 TB is a lot of space. I can barely fill up the 4 TB I have jam-packed into the M.2 slot of my PlayStation 5, so I can't imagine having enough games and data to fill 512,000 GB worth of space. Yet, as reported by StorageReview, DepuStor unleashed the massive SSD onto the world at the event's show floor, which is an industry first and the latest in the brand's R6060 QLC Series.
