New Delhi: The Brahma Kumaris' Om Shanti Retreat Centre hosted a program for women on 'Role of women in the present Times of Crisis' at Bharat Mandapam campus here, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The President Droupadi Murmu was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The main objective of the seminar was to empower women in their respective fields and make them aware of their innate powers.
The galaxy of eminent speakers included Rekha Sharma, Chairman of National Commission for Women; Rupender Brar, Additional Secretary, Government of India; Priyadarshini Rahul, Chairman, Sansad Ratna Awards Committee and Supreme Court Advocate; and Kalyani Raj, President, All India Women's Conference.
Senior Yogis of Brahma Kumaris Sister Jayanti, Additional Chief of Brahma Kumaris; Sister Sudesh, Jt Chief of Brahma Kumaris; and Sister Sarada and Dr Savita also expressed their views in a seminar.
The program was organised on last Monday on May 27.
