The Chase's Bradley Walsh will be left quaking with fear in the first two episodes of Breaking Dad, which both air on ITV on Tuesday, January 10. The series, which has been running since 2019, sees the presenter, 62, and his son Barney, 25, go on a road trip across several countries. The father and son duo's first stop of the new series is Mexico.
Bradley, who has spoken in the past about his fear of heights, is made to do the unthinkable at one point in the first episode when Barney asks him to climb a mountain that is approximately the size of "32 Big Bens". Dealing with harsh weather conditions that make visibility poor, Bradley is astonished to learn that he will have to swing from his platform to one on the other side of the mountain that he can’t even see.
Trying to offer his dad some reassurance, Barney says to him: "How about this – I’ll do the swing, and you can watch me do it and then you can decide, 'Is that something I want to put myself through?” After giving him a high-five, he urges him to "get on with it" and he does so with ease.

Realising Bradley will need an extra nudge, Barney swings back to join his father. "I’ve now got a headache, I can’t tell you. I’ve got a headache like I can’t believe,’ Bradley says, before being reunited with his son, who tells him to "look down and see how far [they've] come".
This doesn't give Bradley confidence and just when it looks like he won't do it, The Chase presenter springs into action. "Let's do the swing," he says before adding, "I don't know why I'm doing this."
Bradley takes a deep breath and does the 'Death Swing'. Cheering from the other side, Barney says: "Oh my God, he did it! Yes!" Meanwhile, a beaming Bradley replies: "I actually quite enjoyed that" and proceeds to swing back the other way to reunite with his son.
