John Bishop invited Doctor Who co-star Jodie Whittaker on to his podcast to discuss their time together in the Tardis.
The podcast, Three Little Words, is exclusive to Amazon Music and is hosted by John Bishop and Line of Duty actor Tony Pitts. The pair invite guests to chat about three words that mean something to them and one they would gladly never hear again.
In one episode of the podcast, John talks about Doctor Who and the overwhelming emotion that "took over" during a post-wrap meal. The concluding episode of Jodie and John's time in the Tardis is set to coincide with the BBC Centenary later this year, with another special episode set to air around Easter.

In the podcast, John said to Jodie: "We had a moment when we finished Doctor Who. We went out for dinner and got talking about it, and I just… I just burst out crying.
"Because I thought about these relationships that I had established with people that I wasn’t expecting to establish. Particularly as a man in his 50’s, you don’t assume you are going to have female friends, who seem to mean that much… and what is going to happen is we are going to live our separate lives now."
John explained in the recording that he doesn't usually "get emotional" but something about the situation he found himself in really "hit him". Jodie agreed with him and said: "It was really amazing though, there was me Mandip [Gill], Brad [ Bradley Walsh ], and you, and we were in this private dining room weren’t we? And we just all became completely over emotional.
"Brad dived up, started giving you a massive hug. It was one of them things were immediately, when we kind of floated above the scenario, we couldn’t stop f****** laughing. Because also, what we were upset about and why we were all so emotional about it, was because there was so much joy."
Without saying it outright, this statement by Whittaker could be an indication to the return of Bradley Walsh for her final episode, if the three companions were together with her at a farewell dinner. Bradley left the show after the New Year's Day special in 2021, where his character Graham, and grandson Ryan [Tosin Cole], decided life with the Time Lord was getting a bit too much.
John added: "Yeah it was joy and also, I think, appreciation and gratitude for having reached that point. But they all just laughed at me."
Jodie was quick to respond after a laugh and said: "I wasn’t laughing at you. I laughed at Brad who bounced over to you, he was like a little mother hen."
